Abstract: This study aimed to identify the degree of effectiveness of the mental maps strategy in developing physical concepts (movement equations with constant acceleration) for ninth grade students in public schools in the Directorate of Education and Teaching of the Sahab Brigade from the point of view of their teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (17) items was developed, It was distributed to (35) physics teachers for the ninth grade in government schools in the Directorate of Education of the Sahab Brigade, and its validity and stability were confirmed by a committee of specialized arbitrators. The results of the study showed no statistically significant differences in the degree of effectiveness of the mental mapping strategy in developing concepts. Physics (movement equations with constant acceleration) for the ninth-grade students in public schools in the Directorate of Education of the Sahab Brigade due to the gender variable. It also demonstrated that there are no statistically significant differences in the standardization of the degree of effectiveness of the mind mapping strategy in developing physical concepts (movement equations with constant acceleration) For students of the ninth grade in public schools in the Directorate of Education of the Sahab Brigade, according to the two variables of academic qualification, a bachelor’s and a high diploma, while it was found There are statistically significant differences according to the educational qualification variable, Master’s degree.
